HALOKE

Swampfox Bone Fish Hook Native American Flute Mega D# AWESOME CLARITY LOUD CRYSTAL CLEAR CONCERT TWO TOTEMS!!

Reaching back across time itself

A Swampfox Production

Black Cherry from Pennsylvania is said to be the finest in the world! This one comes with a travel totem and an extra leather tie as well... Mega-Bore Flute is approx 25" in length & keyed to LOW D# with a 1.25" bore dia.. Hook is bonded and also tied to totem with sinew. This is the most comfortable of the large flutes I build and you will truly Love it my Friends! The sound is as ancient as the ancestors who used bone tools for sustenance! Even with modern equipment, this hook was a challenge to create. I have no idea how pre-historic man ever carved the hooks of ancient past.

Flute has the voice of TWO!!! Xtremely Loud and Crystal Clear!

Hook is a Swampfox replica of a 4,000 year old hook found in Norway.

Origin:

Brothers and Sisters, I hope all of you are doing well and are truly blessed in all you do!

Everything about this flute has been an absolute pleasure.

It all began while fishing the Skinny Water Swamp with my Family. As some of you know, we love camping and fishing down here almost as much as making flutes! :))

While taking a nice bass off of my son's lure, our dog Snowfox earned his keep by bringing me a very cool deer bone!! This dog has always been full of surprises!

I knew the cherry flute at home needed a totem, but at the time had no idea what this bone meant to the flute, just knew it was somehow a part of it! :))

While in the Pacific Islands recently, I learned a little about bone from good Native Brother there. His heart was as pure as they come. And so,, I decided to use the bone just in the way it was found - Fishing!

Although the first known fish hooks were made of wood,,, bone soon became favorable as man's implements developed, yet required considerable labor to reach their desired form.

Facts: Did you know that one of the earliest musical instruments ever found was a flute made of bone in western Iowa... Up until the end of the 19th century Lapp Fishermen used wooded hooks in the great cod fisheries in northern Norway.... Native Americans sometimes used the claws of hawks and the beaks of eagles to make hooks.

A hook made from bone can be just as sharp as a modern hook, so if you're ever lost in the wilderness while playing this flute, you will have no problem catching dinner! Make sure there is a lake and some fishing line around there where you are lost. Wooooooooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!

There is an ancient Chinese proverb that says: "Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day, but if you teach him how to fish, he will eat for a lifetime. I like to think of my flutes the same way...... Give a man a CD and he listens to a few songs, but give him a flute, and there is no limit to the songs that will come to him! :)))

They say a truly great work of art can never be fully understood. To me this flute represents time, and it's voice reaches back across time itself when men made their living the way Creator meant for it to be. On this new journey with this flute, on some future day, you will understand. You will be inlightened through the voice of this flute as your prayers are sent across and into the other world.

With this instrument it is my prayer that the utmost pleasure is found by it's Keeper and also in the small things of daily life. Even as I type this, this very moment, I have been blessed twice! My little girl Creesong came inside with a beautiful feather she just found and handed it to me! Unbelievable!!! And now little Justin is reciting a verse from his bible he has memorized this week... "This is how God showed his love among us, He sent his One and Only Son into the world that we might live through him. 1st John 4:9" It's a wonder I can even type with all of this going on in here! hehehee

Remember that Creator wants us to focus on the things that are true and right. Whatever we focus on, is what we will get more of. Think lack and you get lack, but when we think abundance, we get much more! Many people for some reason think it is wrong to be happy,,, but friends, our Creator wants the very best for us - Love, Success, and Happiness! It is our Choice to Make.

I will revise very soon if you are interested in this flute - so stay tuned for sound.

We Love You Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brother Fox, Snowfox, and Family
